Well then Eric, I don't think you will get the whole picture when you stick to only those three, we are all involved, and you will be suprised in how many unexpected ways. This is, apart from the professions that are structurally used/involved/forced to collaborate.

I am currently busy writing an essay on the power of the Media, using the case of the Dendermonde mass murder. I see in history three professions linked to power and shaping our views of reality: 1) in tribal societies the "prophets" 2) in modern liberal societies the "legislators" joined by medicine. 3) in "postmodern" totalitarian societies "the media" backed by psychologist and psychiatrists.

Have a look at this article at the Z-Net site: http://www.zmag.org/znet/viewArticle/20518,
Noam Chomsky is analyzing media attention (one-sided, embedded, neglecting) already for a long time.

The pen is mightier than the sword and it is a blessing to be free to attempt a better reality, so take heart. I am dismayed at the failure of our News Journalists to fully report Gaza and especially the genocide in Dufar.

Can we write our way to a better reality?
